PROPANE RECORD OF TRAINING

To activate, connect and disconnect propane heaters 400,000 BTU or less from piping, tubing, or a container. This course has been designed to provide the necessary knowledge and skills so that workers can safely activate, connect and disconnect propane heaters, torches and other propane-powered appliances. The Ontario Propane Training Corporation (OPTC) will issue an ROT after this program has been successfully completed.
Course consists of the following:
In class instruction
Hands on demonstration and individual evaluation of each person
Written test with a passing grade of at least 75%
Course Length: Approximately 3 hours
Cost:
$175 / Person
Includes training book, exam and OPA ROT application fee

SKYJACK TRAINING INCLUDING FALL PROTECTION

This course consists of:
Construction Safety Association of Ontario (Basics of Fall Protection)
Skyjack (Operator Training)
Upon completion of this course, each participant will have the basic knowledge required for construction personnel to work safely in areas exposed to fall hazards. Participants will be able to recognize fall hazards, identify and apply fall protection controls, including fall prevention and fall arrest.
Each participant will receive instruction on the proper use and operation of Skyjack SJIII Indoor and/or SJ-Mid Size Rough Terrain self-propelled elevating work platforms. Topics covered include - who is qualified to operate the aerial lift, operating safety, the mechanical operation of the aerial platform, and equipment maintenance.
Course consists of the following:
CSAO Fall Protection:
In class training video
Hands on demonstration of safety equipment
Written test with a passing grade of at least 75%
Skyjack Operator Training:
In class training video and workbook
Hands on demonstration and individual evaluation of each operator
Course Length: Approximately 3-4 hours
Cost:
$150 / Person
Includes CSAO Training Certificate and Skyjack Training Certificate
